he mentioned further up the thread that he's waiting for pascal for two new cards before watercooling them.

looking great mate.

I'm never had the guts to dabble into water cooling, will be doing a new build soon myself and this is tempting me!

this is my first one and I'm no DIY expert turned out alright!

Once Pascal is out I will Watercool these new cards

the system is ROCK solid.

I have OC'd to 4.5Ghz, memory upto 3600mhz and all is good.

M2 drive is ROCKING fast and the new Doom beta was smooth as Silk!!

There's an M.2 socket on that board? Is it under the armour by any chance or is it on the back? Just double-check what temp it runs at if it's confined. They get quite toasty. If it's just a single one, I believe that HWInfo can read the temp. Samsung Magician I would assume is the other option - can't read mine directly as they're RAID 0'd :D They start to thermally throttle about 85°C I believe and mine were certainly hitting the mid 60s (measured by stick-on temp sensor) before I slapped some heatsinks on them. If yours is on the back, you may be able to put some thermal pads between them and the case to suck the heat away.

Nice, I really wanted this case for my build but it simply wasn't in stock anywhere for months... Looks every bit as good as I thought it would!

Also in the 'waiting for a few Pascal cards to drop in' boat ;)

so I have 2 x 1080 FE cards on the horizon.

CPU is around 26c

GPU's float around 30-35c

when gaming GPU's hit 60-75, CPU hits around 50

In its current guise (i.e. CPU watercooled and SLI'd GPUs on air), this is a very similar build to the one I'm planning (same motherboard, CPU, RAM, M.2 SSD etc), so it's heartening to see reasonable figures. I had a question about whether this case would support this type of configuration over in the 'case central' section and this has alleviated my concerns somewhat.

Are there any other significant points to note with the setup I need to be aware of?

Cracking build btw.

cheers, no it was very simple I had to switch the 360mm rad's a couple of times until I found the one that fitted LOL!!! it was a squeeze but no modding.

I have just sold both 980Ti cards on ebay ready for 2 x 1080 FE to go in.

here is a breakdown of cost

HI Tom

been looking through your build as i am in the plannning stage of mine using the same case i got cheap on the bay, for the up coming 8700k, just wondering how you secured your res and pump to the corner did you leave it with a cable tie or did you get a special bracket?

thanks
