Tomshardware VGA charts updated at last!

Thanks for the link - it's interesting to see how close GTX2801GB SLi and GTX2601GB SLi are.

MS FS X for toms results do not add up...

A 256mb X1900XT can't ever beat a 512mb X1900XTX...

And a X1900XTX at 1920x1200 and max settings can't do 20FPS average either, unless you pick a spot at 20,000 feet and no clouds...

So even a Crossfire 4870 can't keep up with a GTX 280 in Cod4 and Crysis?

dunno about COD4, but Crysis is better card for nvidia, just as HL is better for ATI

Read all results with a pinch of salt from toms.

Tomshardware was sold a few years back, so now it has nothing to do with it's original people who gave it's credibility.. It's run by monkeys now, results of reviews are usually interesting to read but very inaccurate. looking at the results a lot of these benchmarks make no sense.

Those results are pure bs lol crossfire scales around 100 percent in cod 4 on most sites on that site the gain is very small. Ati also do well in quake wars not on this site and i see a 3870 which in quake wars is no where near as fast as a 4850 in this chart its faster. In the same benchmark the 4850 is also faster than a 4870 which means the 3870 is a good bit faster than the 4870 lol what a joke. After checking out those 3 benchmarks i thought what a lot of rubbish and checked no further. Where do they get these benchmarks from?

The Q3 VGA Chart is from a few months back.

It doesn't have the DAAMIT 4670 or the 4830 either (Both fairly recent launches).

Doesn't help that neither of the articles have timestamps xD

the Crysis results are bizarre. Even at 1280x1024, no AA/AF, no card runs it at more than 36fps. CF/SLi has no effect and in some cases, slows it down!!!! There has to be something inherently wrong with these results or Crysis.

There are so many errors in these charts its a damn joke to many to list an 8800gt in one result is top of the chart beating all new cards and crossfire sli all what a joke tbh. Some people may use this chart to buy a new card and be very disappointed.
