TomTom 5 Post Code Problem

Hi guys,

I've got TomTom 5 for mobile devices and I've installed it from the CD. However, I've just noticed that the it doesn't include the full 6-7 digit post code, only the first 3 digits. Anyone know how to get the full amount?

Hmm, I thought that was standard (mine only does the first 3 digits too).

I remember a problem like that where you had to make a directory called "tomtom" in the folder navigator 5 is installed. just an empty folder. But this was on my PDA

there is another file you often need for full postcodes. What device are you installing it onto?

You need the relevant .postal file to get full postcode searching.

On your memory card create a folder and call it zip. Then put the Great_Britain.postal file(8.4M) into the zip folder.
