Tomtom 5000

When I connect my TT 5000 to my PC it doesn't show up in My Computer & neither do its files I've got an old Tomtom XL live which because of the costs of Map updates I no longer use Yet, I'd like to transfer one of the voice files from the XL Live over to the 5000 but since I can't see the 5000 in My Computer I'm wondering if this is possible.

Have you installed the TomTom software, mine shows up fine, I have a 6250

Yep, MydriveConnect is installed updates work fine, but when I look in My Computer all I see is an Hd & a DVD

I'm pretty sure with the recent batch of TomToms, viewing the storage is impossible on the PC now. So sadly this is not possible.

I think you're most likely right, mines been like it from new. I can guess "Why". But I wonder how they do it?
