I'd guess it would depend on the player.

I used to run loads of large videos on my small phone screen, it auto-scaled the image for me...saved crippling the quality by changing it to the same res as the phone.

But I don't know what the TT player is like, as I say, I use it on a phone/PDA. :)

This thread has reminded me...

I need to send my Tom Tom Go 300 back to OcUk as the battery no longer takes any charge :|

Krikey ! :o

My invoice is dated.. 01 May 2006.. I'd better RMA it quick

Two year warranty on these according to the Tom Tom website, best to RMA it with OcUk or Tom Tom ?..

OcUk don't appear to have any sat nav's in the shop anymore.

my Dads looking into getting a TomTom. just a cheap one mind. Is it posisble to buy say the UK one, and then just grab some new maps (like Europe) on an SD card and use that? And can you use possibly downloaded type things

Anything like the mediaplayer for the Nuvi range? I have a widescreen nuvi 200 I would not mind being able to play vids on!

I put an episode of Lost on my TomTom one today after seeing this thread :D. Its not bad but a bit jerky, think its a bit low on possessing power to play it properly, i made it as low bit rate as possible as well.
