TomTom routing through restricted roads

Does anyone know why a TomTom sat nav would plan a route through restricted roads? By restricted I mean roads like that are Buses only. Si there some sort of setting that does it or is this normal behavior?

Happened to me and I was amazed I didn't get a ticket going through a bus only street in Norwich, cameras everywhere. I would imagine the software was out of date, that's what I put mine down to.

Castle Meadow? My old TomTom has tried to send me down there before

The sat nav is pretty much brand new, Go 40 or 400 model, well not sure how old the model is but it was bought not long ago and has up to date maps. Can't see anything in the settings, its a bit confusing with the new layout mind, but the old Navman never used to direct to restricted roads.

This is probably down to a mapping error. You can report such errors to Tomtom via http://www.tomtom.com/mapshare/tools/
