TomTom XL - Speed camera warning alert?

Just purchased a TomTom XL however their doesn't appear to be a setting that allows me to put on a warning sound when near a speed camera. My last tomtom allowed me to do this.

Anyone know how I get the alerts on?

Have you tried connecting it to your PC/Laptop & trying the options in there ?

Yeah I've had a look in the tomtom home settings but the only thing I can see is an additional package of speed cameras for £50. I hope I don't need to buy that in order to get warnings when I'm near a speed camera!

I'd say your TomTom doesn't include speed cameras then.

It does because on test routes they show up - I just don't get an audio sound for them. In TomTom home it even says 'Speed Cameras United Kingdom' is installed on the device.

Well i've never had a speeding ticket, and i don't have speed camera warnings, and i'll be the first to admit i don't always stick to the speed limit, though i always stick to 30's and 40's when they are the limits.
