I used to in my younger years, before I realised it got you nowhere. Toughened up and have felt a lot better about myself since.

do you think people realise they are being the way they are

do you think people realise they are being the way they are , or just abit thick.

I'm very easy going but I'm in no way soft at all. People often mistake my easy going attitude for softness and I get great joy from putting them in their place when they try to take advantage of what they think is me being soft and naive

If you are soft, people will take advantage of you. Grow a spine and people begin to respect you.

If it's their nature then no, they probably don't realise until it's pointed out to them.

I'm waaaaaaaaaaay too laid back. It can really be a problem for me, as very rarely do I snap or complain.

Saying that, if someone presses the wrong buttons, I could probably be mustered into defence mode. That is, if I can be bothered...

im like that, why do people have to take advantage all the time, if i could be botherd i could be agressive and be a pillock ,but are we really going to live forever!. we sould try and get on, dose this not make sense.

Because we are programmed mentally to fight to survive, and the last thousand years isn't going to change hundreds of thousands of years of programming.

What has being too nice got to do with being aggressive? The only alternative to being a pushover (which it seems you are) is not an aggressive pillock far fomr it... that's just what you're using to make yourself feel better.

You can be a nice chap and not be a big wet. People just don't respect a man who won't stand up for himself.

I'm abit to easy going..

I like being nice cause i'm a nice lad but when someone keeps constantly taking the **** of arguining with me i eventually snap and turn into a mad person :o

'too nice' and 'too easygoing' are two different things.

When people say you are 'easygoing' it means you are relaxed.

When people say 'too nice' that means that you are giving someone too much attention/putting too much effort in or treating them better than they deserve or would treat you in return.

Well said and very true.

I like to think I'm pretty easy going, but in reality I'm probably not.

I'm certainly guilty of the last statement too, sucks to be honest but it's kinda who I am :).
