Too Human

is it true that enemies level with your equipment though? That sounds crap and oblivion-y :( Why does no-one do the Diablo way?, theres a reason its still popular
 
not sure how they scale but they do scale, also I dont really see how it differs from diablo, on that you have three hardness settings to select where as this does it for you. Also massive chunks of diablo are rendered useless at high levels as there is no point killing the mobs for xp.
 
lvl 40 defender but last night around 1am thought ide try a beserker 7am this morning lvl 25 beserker aswell love the game allso like how there are hidden places to find and differnt routes u can take :D
 
Finished the first chapter. Just a level 10 human champion but loving the time I spent with it. The story is far better than I expected and the loot whore in me is having a great time :)
 
As usual mine didn't show up in time for the weekend. I've no idea why I continue to use this particular online store.
 
lvl 33 now, tried making a couple other characters.

got 2 epic items now, the big flaming sword you see in tyrs workshop, and a helmet that ive not been able to make yet, as its 405 thousand to craft :O
 
The co-op takes away all of the story elements, and alters some of the levels a little. Haven't had a chance to try it out, probably will once I've finished the story.

Just about to ding lvl30 @ 21 hours :)
 
lvl 50 human beserker with epic dual weald staff, epic pistols and rifle but still no armor. allso have lvl 40 defender.
 
Cybernetic champion here.. I stopped playing after hellheim though, it was just too repetitive. Going to give it a break and get back to it after a week or two.

As stated above, the valkyrie thing is just damn annoying in places where you die often..

Also im starting to think guns are way more effective than swords too.. Often find myself using a laser rifle to kill things at range (like those fat things in hellheim that raise the dead, or the big robot things, its nice to be able to blow their arms/legs off)..
 
Nah guns are a waste of time, it's quicker to kill big packs with a melee weapon, at least that's what I've found as a berserker and champion.

I've been through twice, once as a human champion and once as a cybernetic berserker. I'm not sure if I can be bothered getting one of them to 50 though.

I've only seen one epic and that was in Tyr's weapon shop! Of course I didn't have the cash to buy it at the time :(
 
its so much quicker killing stuff with swords than range. 1 thing i will say is make sure u have all your resists capped and u will easy do all lvl without dying if u play right and only use weapons on those suicide bomber mobs.

roll a cybernetic commando if you think melee is better than ranged.

I mow through groups of enemies, including trolls in seconds with my slug cannon, and have an epic sword if ever they get close enough.
