Too Human

Danny, I'll run through some of it with you if you like.

I need a reason to get back into this :p

50 human zerker with elite gear missing the chest, 50 cyber defender 2 parts elite all others at lvl 20. all lvls i find quite easy but as said by other post ice forest is the most chalenging. the missile guys are very easy to overcome once u know how, the way to do it on all classes it to get good dodge and just roll easy as that time it right u will not get hit. :D

for the shield guys the best way to kill them is to juggle them which make them very easy :D 1 juggle and a finisher = dead. as for the spiders i find it best to roll in hit them roll out rinse repeat.

the hardest mobs for me on my beserker are the trolls that freez me with only being close combat.

When you guys say "human beserker" or "cyber defender" what do you mean by cyber and human? Can you choose which race to be as well as class?

dannyjo22: Spiders are easy; just shoot at them whilst walking back, or strafing and when then raise their legs just before the attack, roll and you'll avoid any damage. Easy.
I went down the left path for the Champion at first too but changed to the right side and have found it easier. He's only level 31 though atm and I'm having a break with Infinite Undiscovery before having another run through.

Geez you really do love the RPG's :) Thanks for the tips just put another quick hour in. When you replay do you have to do all the wells again. How do you know your weapon or armour is damaged and by how much? I had a tip screen come up about it but when I check my inventory it doesn't tell me about any damage to the equipment.

When your hit a you get the kind of damage that keeps re-occuring, you know you have a green or red glow and your health slowly decreases is there a way to stop that?

Stay tuned for more questions tommorow ;)

Runes and charms tommorow, clueless about them TBH.

I am just running through the once mate, it's on rental. I like it so much I think I will just pick up a cheap copy anyway and chip away over time. I will defo play some through with you then.

I think that supermarket offer has run out. When I can pick it up for around £20 I will get it.

when u are on fire or poisned u just roll to to dodge most of the damage, silly i know but its how u counter the effect. For damage items it will say 3000/3000 which is not broken or 2000/3000 if it is damaged.

if u fachy playing co-op some time give us a shout.

If I see any polar enemies (fire, ice, slow, poison) I immediately focus on double tapping them into the air then rolling backwards. More often than not they'll die when they hit the ground (falling damage) causing the effect to hit any other enemies around them.

Charms:

Charms have two requirements to become active. A quest type one, i.e. kill 20 trolls, and a selection of runes that need to be added. Once you've inserted all the runes it needs and done the quest the charm becomes active when it's inserted in one of your two charm slots.

Tier 2 Charms are the same except you insert level 1 charms instead of runes and Tier 3 Charms require level 2 charms.

I've put a couple in an active slot. There are two slots. I have completed both the quests on those charms. What do I do with them now? Just removed them and put two more in?

I don't quite get the runes bit. Does doing the charm give you runes?

Have you stuck any runes into the charms? That makes them active and any bonus listed takes effect.
You can also stick runes into any available slots in your weapons and armour.

I'd keep doing level one charm quests as you'll need as many as 5 level 1 charms for a level 2 one.

How ****ing stupid is that troll boss at the end of level 3. Constant re-spawning enemies and major armour. It's taking me 5 deaths or so per limb. You can't run fast enough to even create a gap between you and him to allow you to pick off the spawners.

The only bit of the game so far thats stupid beyond belief.

Played level 2 tonight (took around 3-3.5 hours). On one hand I enjoy certain parts of the game, but dying 20 or so times really got on my wick, as mentioned by others. I may have concentrated on the wrong skills but certain enemies just roll over my Cyber-Champion.

The only one I struggled with was the boss fight with similar moves to you (trying not to spoil it). As a long range character (commander) I couldn't hit him at all as he dodged the hits perfectly =/

Died twice on him!

There was another bit in the game where I died 4 times because I'd get spawned in the middle of 10 enemies and they'd kill me in 3 seconds.

The 2nd level is the toughest though, well I think so. I died about 20 times on that as well.

I died once (possibly twice) on the first level (first time through) and I just thought everyone barking on about dying to much might be abit naff...how wrong I was.

Currently specced my main skills as (off top of my head so not exact):

10/10 Unerring Strike
10/10 Kinship of Gungnir
9/10 Tree of Raining-Iron - not sure this was the best option
2/10 Storm of Mortal Wounds

Part of me wants to continue with the game, but then part of me wants to give it a break and start something else.
