I have two normal keys (front and back door) and then a separate fob for car keys, when I need them. Those two keys are soon to end up as zero when I swap the front and back door to connected keypads. Then I’ll just need to remember the code, or open them with my phone. Can’t stand lots of keys all over the place.
*well not that exactly, but keypads. Best decision I ever made, especially with outhouses/sheds/garages.
Car: Ford key fob, aftermarket alarm fob, disklok key, house key.
Bike: Imobiliser fob, steering lock key, disc lock key, chain lock key, house key.
The two doors in my house and the garage are all keyed alike. I'll be getting two padlocks keyed alike to them to use for my bike as well, so wil be getting rid of those lock keys on that set of keys.
Having loads of keys dangling from the ignition is useful in gauging how smoothly someone drives though! If I hear my keys bouncing off the plastic dash when I'm driving I know I've failed at life.
Generally I think it's not a great idea to keep so many keys (many of which you probably don't always need) with all the time, because if you lose them and need to buy new locks your in a world of pain. For me it's just front door key and car key - nice and simple.
