Tool of choice for driving hex heads?

So what size hole did you drill and what size wall plugs did you put in

All done and up on the wall now. Had a ratchet set I didn't know I had and it was very easy.

I drilled 8mm holes first and then went in with a 10mm drill bit. Plugs used are 10mm

Impact driver is probably the best tool to drive those in but you’ve done it now

Just sounds like the drill does not have enough torque for the final tightening, for these sort of fittings I have always used a large ratchet to do the final tightening. Mainly so I can feel how tight they are before a TV goes up.

Are you using a hex socket with a hex shaped shank? Or maybe a hex to square shank that fits in the back of a normal socket?
