With an ever growing set of tools I'm about at the stage to look for something half fancy to keep them in.

Has anyone tried some of the budget cabs available on eBay?
They seem just about good enough to sit in the corner for average use? But not something I'd be using everyday or transporting in a van regularly for example.

Anyone got some other similar products worth looking at?
I've heard the halfords boxes are nice, but expensive, even when on sale.

I use the Halfords industrial (buy one get one free) and its miles ahead of my mates 5k snap on .

i Have a small cheap one and i hate it with a passion . A decent cab will last you a life time

There's one in Aldi from tomorrow that might be worth a look. £115 its not going to be brilliant - but it might also be perfectly decent.

I'd love one but need to keep my tools in the loft so have a messy solution of several different cases / toolboxes

+1 for Halfords Industrial. Love mine.

Adams is an sgs engineering one. I have the same one. About £100 direct from them for that one he has pictured. Works well for me.

I bought this off Ebay two years ago. The quality is no different to that of the Halfords Units and a lot cheaper.

Went for one with a big cabinet in the bottom as I like to keep all my axle stands and jacks in there.

I have that exact one, got it from B&Q about two years ago, think it was £65 or something, been great too for the money. I have a Mac Tools one as well but its ancient and pretty buggered!
