Top 10 Gerrard Goals

edit: Oopppps wrong link !
I didn't think he scored ten against West Ham :p

I don't think you can argue about the importance of the Olympiakos goal so it's probably fair that it's number one but I thought the goal against Southampton was his best strike.

The volley he scored recently was one of the best goals i have ever seen.

That one, I think it was just off the floor, he just hit it after being passed it back. He was pretty much on the right sideline and near halway line, just swung and it went top left if I remember right. Stunning.

I reckon no. 2 was the best one.

anyone care to translate what's going on there?

ball was kicked out as a player was injured. Ajax player went to kick it out for a goal kick but ended up scoring. Ajax then let the other team score one to level it.

i think the west ham player knew what he was doing (wasting time) he saw him go down, and he was looking for a way out IMO! I dont support either club but thats the feel i got of it!

on his day best player in the world

In his position, perhaps, but I'd still rather have a top form Ronaldinho or Henry instead. Still, that's a discussion for another thread :)

Definitely some cracking goals there, best of the bunch is the one against Southampton IMO, fantastic strike which no keeper in the world would even have gotten close to.

*discusses it in this thread for one post only :p *

As a staunch Liverpool supporter it may surprise you that I actually agree with that. In his position, Stevie is awesome and I would not swap him for any other player.

I would, however, gladly swap Cisse and Morientes for Ronaldiniho and Henry. Who do I have to call to get that sorted?

What about the one he scored for Chelsea ;)

Nice vid, always rated the lad since i first saw him. He had a dip in form some while back but i kept my faith and knew he would come good, him and Joe Cole were the two kids i kept my faith in.

The one against Boro has still got to be my favourite though, fantastic goal. Still remember the totally unbiased cheer from the **** Andy Gray when that goal against Oliampiakos went it. You still have to remain professional not scream YOU BEAUTY! at the top of your voice!

Handily, they'd all fit into the same team, so it doesn't really matter who's better, they're all ace. :p

Out of the 10 the Oliampiakos goal (2nd Cup final goal is equal to it though) was my favourite because of the circumstances closely followed by the Man Utd, Everton and Southampton goals.
