found this on the net and it appears to be a famous chart of the top 10 strongest superheroes in marvel and dc.

i dont really know much about the marvel universe as say the dc one but i always knew the silver surfer was one badass . no surprise then who was at number one!

Supes comes in at number 3 which is fair enough. poor guy would get battered by thor or silver surfer. but then he would batter everyone else lower than him

I did note that spelling errors increased as the list went on ... as if the author were getting more and more excited about writing about his favourite superheroes :). I love to see enthusiasm.

You can give me all the "power cosmic" you like, Superman is the only true superhero for me, I grew up with him and spent many days of my youth pretending I was Superman, battling Lex Luthor and saving Lois Lane. Ah, the memories :)
 
hmm, now that I've read that site, it seems Wonder Woman is better than I'd thought.

I'd only seen her in the 70's show, and all she did in that was run and jump about in slow motion, had some cool bracelets and a truth whip (and was pretty strong). :)

I think is may have been a lasso actually, rather than a whip... either way it was pretty crap. :)
 
While I have a massive bias towards Marvel, that list (and the reasonings behind it) made me LOL more than once. I might just be a comic geek, but the guy that wrote that has a Marvel bias waaaaaay bigger than mine, and that just made it unreadable after a point. It all neatly worked it's way up to the Silver Surfer being top of the list - how convenient ;)
 
That list is way off.
Silver surfer is one badass dude but having wonderwoman on that list is ridiculous.
It is a fact that the most powerful being/superhero ever is The Beyonder. There is and could not be anyone more powerful than the Beyonder as he is everything.
As far as the lesser super dudes go then Wolverien is well up there, and i don't mean the modern day one i mean the original Wolverien from Marvel.
Looking at that list SS is the only one i would put on it but not at the top.

Thats not even mentioning the bias. Kind of obvious when you check out the domain name of the site ;)
 
That website is slightly biased towards the Silver surfer.

But surely the surfer, with the power cosmic is classed as a cosmic being?
