TOP 3 greatest most Memorable games of all time

Personally, not in any particular order.

CounterStrike beta 0.2 (from 90s)
King of Fighters 98 (hence my name :D )
Street Fighter 2 (turbo)

Really I'm rather surprised at this sfaic GTA IV was one of the worst my list for GTA Preference would be:

1. GTA London

2. GTA San Andreas

3. GTA Vice City

4. GTA 2

5. GTA IV + expansions

6. GTA

7. GTA 3

I've enjoyed every GTA but 4 gave me a completely different experience and I loved it, the city was just brilliantly created. Enjoyable to just drive and walk around.

1. FreeSpace 2 - "DIVE DIVE DIVE PILOT, HIT YOUR AFTERBURNERS!"
2. Half Life 2
3. Counter-Strike 1.6? or FreeSpace 1

There are so many, I have to cheat and combine some..

1) Baldur's gate (I & II) & Planescape: Torment
2) Quake, Doom and Unreal
3) Starwars Galaxies & World of Warcraft (vanilla to Burning Crusade)

I feel guilty not including everything else, but I have to metion every Bullfrog game as well (namely Dungeon Keeper). I'll try to leave it there!

Morrowind
Oblivion
Skyrim

Can talk for hours on end about each of them due to the sheer amount of content and lore + story telling.

If it must be three, then it would be these:

Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge
Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars

If I can add three more, then it would be these:

Command and Conquer: Tiberian Sun
The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion
Homeworld 2

Lots of games for me to mention but my favourtites were:

1. Frontier: Elite 2 (Played for many years on my old Amiga 4000/40.. Yes the 4000/40 Cost me iirc £2500 with extra bits added on..) The frames rates where insane. Smooth as silk.

2. World of Warcraft (WoW) I still play this and have my own guild. Still going strong.

3. Super Mario Cart on the SNES. nuff said.

story
1) silent hill 2
2) shenmue
3) final fantasy VII

nonstory
1) red orchestra ostfront
2) world of warcraft
3) unreal tournament 2004

If it must be three, then it would be these:

Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge
Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars

Very close to mine too, but in the place of Zelda it would be Planescape: Torment;

1.Planescape: Torment - but fully modded.
2.Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars - by far the best of the series, a real masterpiece.
3.Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge - first game I ever installed.

1. FFVII

3. Sensible Soccer

A pathetic amount of time was spent on playing these as I was growing up, if I had put that time to a more practical use who know's what I'd have become :p

Zelda: Ocarina of Time: Just pure magic. I can hear the music in my head now and it gives me goosebumps!

Quake 2 multiplayer: Played it for 3 years solid....don't think I left the chair in all that time other than to eat / use bathroom :)

Football Manager 2011: Easily consumed the most hours of my life (combined with FM2010 onward) and is absurdly addictive.

nice loving people suggestions...

to show my gamers age I was a Mega Drive gamer

and I remember
Alien Storm, Gun Star Heroes, Altered Beast (they not my list though as I have those in my first post) they bring back some really good memory from my early gaming days...

Keep your Fav's coming I'm going to combine all data and build a hierarchical list...

Completely agree on Broken Sword, but Legend of Zelda 3 will always have a place at the top for me, especially after having played 1 and 2 on the NES - Grumble..Grumble.. anyone?

Interestingly, Lechuck's Revenge was also one of the first PC games I ever installed, possibly at the same time or just after Dune 2.

1. FFVII

Good old Sensible Soccer on the Amiga - still remember those almost impossible to do long distance floated goals.
