Goals in which you can replay in your head over and over like it was a video playing on tv.

Mine are no surprise really seeing as how I am a Man U fan. :D

1 & 2.

3.

Runner up.

I still have match of the day with that Henry goal on it somewhere on VHS.

lol that was one of the most one sided finals I ever watched. To me it was good until 2005, Henry goal was sublime

That for me is the 3 most memorable goals of recent times, 05>99 all day long

This makes it more sweeter

"Game well and truly over"

Gerrard's header was pinpoint, not many players could angle that ball in, 3-0 down as well.

That Giggs goal is class but the defending was shocking, pass to Giggs was bad enough, then hardly a tackle on him until hes in the box.

Now that is a goal from the half way line, scary.

Dennis Bergkamp - Holland v Argentina World cup USA 1994

1998 cuz

But i think this is better

George Weah vs Verona 1996 i think it was.
Maradona vs Greece in USA 94 World Cup.
Batistuta vs Man Utd 2000.

1st one that came to mind

And this is technically 4, but come on, it's the greatest comeback since Lazarus :D

Seems like a very long time ago now like :(

The most memorable (not necessarily the best) for me are:

Giggs vs Arsenal - FA CUP 98/99
Gascoigne vs Scotland - EURO 96 :(
Zidane vs Leverkusen - CL FINAL 02

Beckhams goal from the half way line.

The goal that David Seamon let in, when playing for Arsenal in the Champions League which was shot from the others teams own half.

And....

Roberto Carlos free kick vs Argentina.

Dalian Atkinsons vs wimbledon 1993
M Laudrup vs Uruguay WC 86
Van Basten vs Russia EC 88

Not my favourites, but goals i will always remember.

Ironic you lament the defensive for Giggs' goal but you picked Bergkamp's. School boy defending from Newcastle

Dennis Bergkamp's 3rd vs Leicester
Matt Le Tissier vs Newcastle
Matt Le Tissier vs Wimbledon

3 that came to mind quickly, not necessarily the best ones.

I'd go with goals I've seen in my lifetime, so the Maradona vs England goal doesn't count, as it isn't memorable to me.

I'd probably pick:

Solskjaer vs Bayern Munich 1999 CL final
Zidane vs Bayern Leverkusen 2002(?) CL final
Giggs vs Arsenal 1999 FA Cup
