There will be a selection of Sega games available I believe, though I guess it wont be as many as the NES / SNES / 64 games.
 
Yeah, it was confirmed a while back that there would be Mega Drive (EDIT: Linkified) games available for the Virtual Console. So for me, that means I can want:

Gunstar Heroes
Streets of Rage (any and all)
Golden Axe (again, any)
Goldeneye
Mario Kart (either 64 or SNES)

It's just got to be multiplayer games for me. Nintendo consoles are always great for their multiplayer fun, and I've got enough housemates/friends/neighbours that'll want in not to think of them. Mind you, if they did bring out Chrono Trigger, I'd be a very happy man. It should have come out for the GBA, but this'll do.

The only problem there is that you'll miss out on Link's Awakening (Gameboy), which is actually one of the best Zelda games overall. Well, after LttP, Wind Waker and Ocarina, anyway. ;)

EDIT: Get in, Golden Axe is confirmed as coming to the Wii. :cool:

cant wait for this! I too need to catch up on zelda's, I have ony ever played the minish cap on my DS (GBA Game). ANyone want to put them in orderof greatness?
Also what gamecube games should I be buying as I missed that boat as well!
Shall we include them inthe lists?
Golden axe will be first now its confirmed, that will be ace!

and for the gamecube get RE4, Resident evil remake and Tales Of Symphonia.

when I pick mine up I'm going right home and downloading mario kart. wii sports, zelda and red steel can wait their turn:D

GoldenEye and Half-Life are the 2 most genre defining games of the last 10-15 years.
