Is it just me or is it absolutley gorgeous out there today? Had the A/C on the way to work and Sunglasses.. and nice loud music to go with

Already been out and had some fun, I purposely drove 15 miles to the nearest Shell station for some V Power and took another 30 miles to get home :p

Windows down, country roads and VTEC = :D :D :D

I did the very same only for normal fuel.

Just an excuse to make a journey.

You always know summer is just around the corner when you see your first chav wearing no top in a white Mk5 Escort with England flags on each of the back windows.

It wasn't pouring down so top was down. I'm amazed at how many soft top cars that I saw with the roof firmly up, what's the point of buying one if you never get the roof down?

Normally I'd just have the aircon on and windows up, but it's often too windy and cold to need a/c or open the windows.

It has been nice today, but I've been scrubbing wheels instead of driving :(. Do you like my new set?

Yep, although outside temps were *only* 19.5ºc here today, the fact that there wasn't a cloud in the sky meant that by the time I got in my car it was like a greenhouse, set it to "lo" and off I went :)

I have the aircon on 365 days a year though (just not usually on that cold 19ºc is my usual setting), climate control won't set to auto without the A/C on.

Really

My MPG is only pants if I nail it, I can quite comfortably see 35-37MPG on my trip to work (20 miles NSL B-Roads, 10 Miles Motorway).

I thought your Mpg was high 20's.

;)

Without derailing this thread even more, yes generally my average over the last 1000 miles or so is 28.9MPG, but thats an AVERAGE of the last 1000 miles, including commuting, having a larf, general hooning about, everyting.

Its only you who gets pants MPG for no reason.
