What are the best compact games you recommend to take for us to play. Only will be 2 of us playing as the little one is too young for games.

What are the best compact games you recommend to take for us to play.

Completely depends on you and the missus, you've given us basically no information here.

Maybe a compact version of battleships would be best, maybe a small chess set or draughts... maybe connect four, maybe just bring a pack of cards... Who knows...

Plenty of hotels and guest houses have books and board games you can borrow anyway so maybe just check if yours does?

If so, the best thing is probably to bring nothing and just borrow a full-size game when you get there instead of packing some naff travel version.
