You're thinking Top Gear USA on History Channel. With Tanner Foust, Rutledge Wood and Adam Ferrara from "Rescue Me". This is Top Gear America. With "Wookie" from Fifth Gear, William Fitchner from "Prison Break" and some other dude that can drive.

I liked Top Gear USA when they made it just adventures and no studio shows. This was about as good as the worst of the new top gear season 1.

Well, I tried first episode and I'm out. Very stiff, very fake, alienating selection of material and hosts are quite terrible. Completely doesn't work for me.

This was aweful, i thought the 3 guys that TG USA were very good, good chemistry and nice bit of banter without being too idiotic like Clarkson,may,hammond.

Tanner Foust was the only one I thought was good - I found Rutledge Wood plain irritating and Adam Ferrara bland. I think William Fichtner and Tanner would have made a good team with the right writing but TG America is just a car crash lol the other two hosts just don't carry it at all and the writing...

Like everyone else, I thought it was horrible, couldn't even manage the whole episode before it got a GIANT NOPE from me.
