I also learned that the R8 can slide pretty well

Depending on who it is, often one of my favourite features. (Although i would rather they scrapped "in the car" bit and just chatted to them for longer about cars).

Clarkson should interview May and Hammond about their car history and see what laptimes they can do

Sweet. I always look forward to Top Gear, and FINALLY in HD. They really teased us with the Polar special a couple of years back as to how good it can look.
