Top Gsync / FreeSync choices?

For gaming would it be worth it to upgrade from a 24" 1080p 144hz, to the same spec G-sync model?

My thinking is if I stay on 1080p I should be able to max out games without much fuss instead of having to spend loads on a graphics card that can handle the extra pixels.

I was at 1200p and at 1440p I am gaming at 59% more pixels.

I would say the difference between 1200p and 1440p is everything is a lot crisper and textures a lot more fine and detailed.

As for is it worth it.... up to you. Maybe wait for a HDR monitor before jumping. Your already at 144Hz.

Me I jumped from a 9 year old 24" 60hz 1200p monitor. So I gained, in resolution, refresh rate, gysnc and in size. So all in all a big upgrade.
