I managed to avoid any major spoilers as I was struggling to get time to get to see this but there was no way I was going to miss it on the big screen.

A month on and Hold my Hand on repeat daily.

We managed to get some time and catch this.

Won't go into much detail but.......

GREATEST FILM EVER!!!

How good was Phoenix!! Instantly had Vasquez vibs giving as good as she got and proving she can hang with the guys without being unlikeable.

Infact the whole cast was likeable.

This just improves on every aspect of the original without pooping on it.

Phoenix didnt need to call her wife before the mission like other movies would

Any news on home release date yet?

Fourth of July weekend 1B for sure i think streaming is 45 days after release no idea on home release august i would guess

Very unoriginal 633 Squadron/Star Wars rip off.

Way too many technical mistakes too.

Having said that for family entertainment it was the ultimate B movie viewing, right up there with Independence Day.

Bucking the trend here but saw this last night with the missus and we both thought it was utter pap.

I love the original but this was a poor cut and paste with a few minor tweaks. Gutted as we really wanted to love it.

The opening sequence & music on the carrier was great but that's about it unfortunately

Top Gun: Maverick has become the best-selling digital sell-through title in the United States in its very first week of release, per Variety. It has also become very popular on Vudu and Amazon.
