Ripped the screen protector off my phone because it's getting replaced in 3 months ... then had a change of heart because I love my Nokia 920.

Scrubbed the screen free of grease and dust as much as I could, put the screen protector on and there were bubbles everywhere, looked awful, put the phone down disappointed.

Then I remembered I bought 2 screen protectors, ripped the one I just stuck on which took the dust with it ..... stuck the second one on instantly and not a single bubble. I had achieved the impossible. :D

Just thought I'd share as I've been messing it up for years.

Wipe with alcohol.
Wipe with microfibres cloth.
Put screen protector on slowly, any dust particles: wrap Sellotape around finger (sticky side out), life screen protector and apdab dust with cenotape.
Repeat till bubble/dust free.

I usually end up buying the cheapest screen protectors and just bunging them on. I usually use 2/3 each time I change as i'm that hopeless. Bubble free every time though! :)

Get the bathroom all steamy and put the protector on in the bathroom. Steam should keep the dust at bay.

OP method is all well and good if you're buying cheapo ebay ones at 99p for 10 but if you're getting expensive Spigen stuff then worth doing it right once.

Position the protector on your phone then secure it with masking tape top, middle and bottom down the left hand side or right hand side.
This will make a hinge.
Then go into your steamy bathroom. Fold it to the left or right and unpeel the protective film. Then fold it back over on to your screen and will be in the prefect place. Use a debit card to push out any bubbles.
Remove the tape and top protective layer. Jobs a good un.

I got that tip off here ages a go and have been using it since. Simple but brilliant.

Don't most decent screen protectors come with a bit of sticky tape? You've just wasted a screen protector:confused:

Peel off phone side of protector.
Place lower edge on.
Flex protector away from phone.
Apply with a reverse-peeling sort of action.
Press down firmly.

Never failed me...
