Gorgeous weather, had the roof down on the Z4 the whole weekend, all you ragtop owners say:-

"Oh Yeah"! :)

Roof down for me, linked with a nice long drive to Dorset and back for a spot of "Zorbing." I think that I prefered the drive to the Zorb.

I drive a minimaly modified MG F 1.8 VVC in dark metallic red with biege leather seats but I'll get pilloried for saying that ;) of course I can't drive it anywhere for fear of that dreaded HGF and woefull handling.

IIRC the UK has the highest percentage of soft tops in europe

Had the roof down and the aircon on yesterday, it was so damn hot! :D

You realise that aircon is designed to work in a 'sealed' space and that running it with the roof off is largely pointless, as is running it with windows open etc :p

It blows cool air on my feet thats all I care about ;)

I guess the only thing is you are running it full chat constantly, whereas in a closed space it runs full chat to get the temp down then eases off.

Don't know how it effects the life span of it? They always say it's better to use it all the time, than not at all/on off on off. I don't actually use mine when the roof is down.
