LOL!!!! i really am struggling with this bloody game

I downloaded the demo yesterday and had a few quick tie breaker games.

Loved it. Having to hold the button and release when you want to swing is an interesting change and yertainly adds a lot more interactivity to the old tennis game controls.

I was going to wait for this but I might have to pick it up this weekend.

I dont get which bit of the tutorial you guys are getting stuck on. Special shots, then which section? I really didnt find any of that stuff tough, you sure your using the right trigger or skill stick?

The tutorials are rubbish, don't explain enough. The risk shots bit, it simply says use the left or right trigger, and that it's all about timing. That's it. No matter what I do I can't pull one off. I actually thought my left trigger was broken initially because nothing happens regardless of where I position myself, how early I press it and let it go, how late I press it and let it go. Annoying game. Glad I downloaded the demo instead of buying.

Or the control system is rubbish and the stupid tutorial doesn't explain it properly. Never had any problems with any other games, and often I master them pretty easily.

Well seriously, either something is wrong or the tutorial just doesn't explain it properly. I can do normal shots perfect every time, but when I try a risk shot it either does absolutely nothing or just swings the racquet for about 0.2 secs.

I have to say I thought the demo explained things really badly, especially the new right stick serving system.

Its a risk shot, even when you get better they only go in one in ten times. Your all trying to pull of risk shots with very little play time and or low rated players.

In the full game tutorial I walked through the risk shot section in 5 or 10 minutes. Your doing something wrong or just not very good at the game

the ratio is a lot higher than 1 in 10, it's all in the timing ....even moreso with the risk shots.

i can nail a few risk shots together in sequence ...but for sure to try and hit every shot like that is a recipe for disaster.

I've spent loads of time on the demo since yesterday. Im trying to justify buying it now. Can't help but feel even though I like it now, I'd be bored of it in 2 weeks.

Yep that always been my way, hammering out and sell it fast Buy back at a later date cheap if you fancy playing it again.
