This of course is going on the basis I won't receive a beta key, which I am 99% positive on.

The open beta will be free from June. If you pay for early access, you are simply pre purchasing cash store points with a beta key and other goodies for higher pack.

Is $10 really too much compared to preordering this game for £15?

Took the steam pre-order, even though i hate steam couldn't resist the free copy of TL 1 haven't played it in ages.

just signed up for a beta key, due to Diablo 3 being a single player online connection, id rather have the option to play offline/online, and second the price for diablo 3 is ridiculous, compared to £14!! absolute bargain
