torchlight xbla release date

I will check in some of my latest game purchases, might be one lingering in a manual somewhere...

As for the game! Well, I am at my mums, odd as I have not been 'home' in a while and in my old room which is now a office! Anyway, according to the xbox.com site the game is being downloaded... Have to admit, was worried as all I brought was my xbox, power pack and a video cable so the xbox would run, it's only turned on and plugged into the router. No idea what is going on as it's not connected to a tv!

However, xbox.com basically treats your 360 like a remote machine which is great! Very easy to use lol.

As I typed this, the game completed downloading! Time to go home lol.

p.s. not going home till I have raided the fridge, will report back tomorrow on my thoughts about the game. And hopefully with a code :)

If you have one i will bear children for you! enjoy it and let me know how you get on with the game, I'm interested to see how the game fairs on a pad.

Enjoy.

Although please spare me some time in your thoughts, i will be rocking in a corner holding my knees until i get mine.

Have they fixed any of the massive balance issues from the PC release?

Like Arcane Beam being utterly invincible and the crafting system being massively broken.

Well... Played the first 'mission' on all 3 chars, the Alchemist has huge potential if played right, I had the feeling you really had to know the game to pull off playing the character right, the Vanquisher... Well, boring at first, didn't really bother, but again, have a feeling it will be a character that once you understand the simplistic game mechanics, you can make her do a lot of DMG.

The Destroyer, left this class till last as I thought I would hate it, the usual boring hack and slash.... But nope, so much fun! I go running into a load of enemies, do like a huge thunder jump and BOOM, all enemies dead lol. This class is simple to play so good to learn the games mechanics with. Equip best DMG/armour gear, ???, profit.

Anyway, the game. For the love of god, if you have played ANY sort of game with an RPG and loot element, do not play this on normal. If you can't work out which way a spoon is used, don't worry. Normal mode will be fine for you.

I have carried on playing normal mode, despite the enemies made out of butter just so I can understand the mechanics then re play.

If you can't work out which is the more productive, putting milk in the bowel before your cereal or vise versa, and daily plan, test and observe which has the best outcome. The loot system will pull you in.

Every 20 mins I stopped, swapped items, checked new items ect ect. Very fun and simplistic!

Graphics can cause slowdowns, nothing over the top, but noticable, the engine clearly favours newer hardware and moans about running of the streamlined 8600 nvidia chip the 360 has to offer.

Story... HA! Move along.

Overall, it is mindless fun with a lot of loot. Enjoyable but worth 1200 points... Not sure yet.

Not played the PC version, but I have yet to find a fault with the controller layout, everything seems to be very well thought out.
