Only been up to today and its already got $461,000 :eek:

This game sounds brilliant, even better than wasteland 2 (made by same guys) and i bet its gonna make more money too.

Just pledged my £20.

Yeah crazy how quick its going up. I'm always amazed by the people who donate 1000's, they must REALLY like computer games...

I'm a little sceptical of InXile doing well on this one. A lot of the original Black Isle staff ended up at Obsidian (including the legendary Chris Avellone himself) and Colin McComb was responsible for the crappier parts of the original Torment (eg Curst, Clerk's Ward etc).

It's nostalgia for Planescape: Torment, which is still one of the greatest RPGs ever produced. However, Tides of Numenera is not a Planescape game and hence is billed as a "spiritual successor" - though as I'm told Numenera is a sci-fi setting, T:ToN isn't even that. Different setting, different lead writer, different genre, same name. I will be skipping this one.
