Toro Rosso launch thread

Not going to get much done at work today then! :)
 
Yeah had this feeling it was odd to see it being today at Jerez when they are there on Monday onwards.

Oh well, reconvene on Monday :D

Are Red Bull sharing their tech with Toro Rosso again now? As I can't see them going two different ways on the nose.

I've never really understood that ban, because what's to stop the design team chatting to the redbull team over drinks or dinner, or at a party?

What if someone moves from Redbull to Torro Rosso?

What if Redbull setup a separate design company, then sell designs and tech to RBF1 and TRF1?

There's too many ways around the rule.

That being said though, shouldn't the Torro Rosso be much quicker than it is? Or are Redbull hedging their bets and testing two different directions?
 
as far as I know theres 3 groups.

RDR - Red Bull Racing
STR - Toro Rosso

and

RDT - which is Red Bull Technology who at one point "sold" designs to STR. But last season was there 1st go it alone at building a car, but am sure there's knowledge sharing still going on.
