Hi guys, well out of the loop on anything computer related, anything past windows Co is new tech to me so please excuse my ignorance!
I've got an only Toshiba satellite 150d which stopped turning on, it would light up but the hdd would not spin. I thought maybe it would be the cmos battery but couldn't find one, having looked online it appears the satellite laptops have the cmos build into the main battery??
Having replaced the back and refitted the battery the laptop started and ran fine, I shut it down and surprise surprise it didn't start again, took battery out and refitted and it starts again.
Probably a stupid question, but will a new battery solve this or could it be the connections between the battery and the laptop?
