Saw that earlier. What an utter 'ladies front bottom'
Wonder how long he'll remain employed?
Saw that, you have got to be all kinds of special to post that rant on Twitter.
Even more so after being involved in making Mass Effect: Andromeda and Need for Speed: Rivals. Two utterly trash games that deserved every ounce of criticism from the media.

I haven't followed him much since his content dropped off a little since his diagnoses, which is understandable. A very sad loss i thoroughly enjoyed his content 2011-2013

I used to play Planetside with him back in the day. He was a good laugh, a solid bloke and thoroughly genuine. Always enjoyed nattering to him. Was very happy to see him get so much reach on Youtube.

Very sad to see him pass. RIP John.

Only followed him briefly but liked his videos. For a cynically minded person, he's got an impressive attitude in the video a couple of posts above (highly recommend those who haven't to watch it).

R.I.P. John :(

Inspirational.

First time I've heard of the chap - really put's life in perspective.

Found out late,

What makes for sad reading in particular for me is the age, not detracting in the slightest from how awful a disease cancer is, but that is just no age at all.
It makes me think of my younger siblings, I'm barely much older myself and its a firm kick up the backside what we take for granted when it comes to the health lottery.

It is good that he was able to continue with a relatively normal life for the most part (outside of treatment) and be able to pursue his interests/passions right up till the end, which i honestly think is important and probably what motivates people to give health guru's the finger when dealt a poor prognosis like that. Its a horrible situation but honestly many people with it don't even get that.

RIP.

Don't feel like its the place to elaborate too much on the disappointing (yet unsurprising) conduct of bioware/ea if you've seen some of their personnel's antics the last 18 months.

I went to school with John, sadly lost touch when he went off to uni but had the privilege to know him in person for many years. Such a loss at no age at all.

RIP John.
