Yeah, I read like page 1-7, then ended up skipping loads of pages. Look near the end, where its all built. He's left a gap next to where the hardrives are mounted for cables to go from the PSU. A really neat yet simple idea IMO

I'm thinking to doing a star trek case.... the borg cube has allready been done... but what about say a case like the enterprise D.... saucer section should be big enough to hold mother board + cards, hard drive, DVD.... and star drive for the rad (deflector dish being air intake...) only trouble is where do I put the PSU.....

comeon guys, you gota have ideas what you'd like... even if they are suecidal....

I'm currently building a stack for my developement servers.... anyone remember the OCUK stomp monster? I wonder if they still got it.... this is stomp monsters mother.... :p
What can I say, I got two dual P3's and one of them is a HUGE server class motherboard (intel nightshade), one P3 1ghz, one K7 800 and more are required for my current projects...

PS, they all run custom linux.... I'm talking Linux from scratch... all self compiled.... my own distro... my own flavour!

:EDIT
just thaught, the enterprise D has a shuttle bay at the back of the saucer and two more down the 'neck' wonder if I could get it in their....

whats it made out of

2 sheets of 4mm acrylic bent around 2 triangular acrylic frames, and a slide out motherboard acrylic tray in the middle. after the picture i got hold of 2 pieces of steel bent at 60' angles to neaten the edges at each side.

i wish i could do that stuff

You can. Get some materials and tools and get going. :) I used to think the same, until I started the android project. Then I realised that you can only do stuff like that by actually trying, and once your going its not too hard. Even when you get stuck or things don't work, there is plenty of support and help on the net. :)
