Total Lunar Eclipse: 3am

I don't see much talk about this. Apparently there's a total lunar eclipse tonight:

The best time to see it will be from 3 am, lasting for about 50 minutes as the Earth's shadow obscures the entire moon. Weather forecast is good, so I'll be getting up at 3 to hopefully see it all happen. :cool:

I wanted to see it but its really cloudy here, not sure if I wanna stay up that late for it.

edit - not as bad as i thought and i can the moon perfectly out my window

actually i just went outside and it's just a light mist now, can see the full moon perfectly

It'll go red/blue as it falls into the earths shadow.

there's a list on Wiki....next one after Aug is Feb 9th next year...seem to be more regular than every 4 years
