PC as in my sig.

I had this one stable at 3.6 (400*9) on stock volts (1.225), ram timings to 4-4-4-13 @ 1:1 (800mhz) and auto volts (which I believe is 2.0v).

I've knocked the cmos switch whilst refitting some fans, but I knew the settings etc so I just jumped right back up to those settings.
It won't post. I took the ram timings up a bit (it didn't post before when I'd pushed them further), to 5-5-5-15. With this, it posts & boots, but BSODS under load.

Whack the ram back to "auto" which I believe is 6-6-6-18 on this board. Not stable with orthos at all (1-10 seconds). I've put everything back to default now and it's orthos stable, but it's doing my nut in that I had a nice o/c and now I've got diddly squat and I have no idea what's going on!

The only voltages I touched were the ram and cpu, both back up to what I had them at before and it's still not posting :(

I would up the other voltages too. I can't achieve a decent overclock without doing so. As long as you don't push them too high it's virtually risk-free so why not give it a go. ;)

Which ones though? There are a plethora of voltages all with big a scary "AUTO" next to them and unfortunately the bios won't tell me what these autos are set at!

It ran fine at 1.9-2.0 with the 4-4-4-15 timings @ 800Mhz which is apparently it's defaults. I'll knock the voltage up to 2.1 and see how things go :)

e: took it to the timings and voltage it can supposedly handle and I can't get it to post. put the voltage up to 2.1 (over the recommended 2.0) and it still won't post :(

e2: stable at 3.6Ghz (400*9) with 1.24V, 5-5-5-15 @ 800Mhz with 2.1V. Still don't know why it's not letting me go to 4-4-4-15 when they're the advertised timings!

Finally managed to get a nice stable 3.6 on stock volts (1.22V) with the correct ram timings too at 2.1V :D

When I have the time I'll try and push for a higher cpu clock as my load temperatures are currently under 50 so I think it can take some more beating ;)
