It's one of those programs you know you should hate, but enjoy.

And then have to go and have a cold shower and scrub with brillo pads afterwards.

Not as gud as Takeshi, but very entertaining none the less. There seems a bit of a surge in "slapstick" style shows on the beeb in the pasts 6months or so. First "Hole in the Wall" and now "Total Wipeout" both of which are hilarious IMO.

TBH I'd prefer to be on the program rather than just sitting at home watching

Agreed. The physical ability and strength you need is very evident. Love it and would love to have a go!
