Is this another case of wasted fee payers money thanks to the BBC. Lets fly and accomodate countless deluded Brits in Argentina and then the pay whoever wins £10k.

How come they filmed in Argentina, what's wrong with Milton Keynes?!?

I second Milton Keynes ;)

Quite an entertaining program I find. The obstacle course is located out there, mabye they get more good weather, it looks like it.

Generally get a mix of delusional and serious contenders, for entertainement value I guess. Watch the Ninja warrior program if you want to see something more "hardcore" with only serious contenders :)

you have to fly yourself there to be a contestant. BBC dont pay for it.

anyone was free to turn up AFAIK. its mostly people who are already there on holiday or whatever who are on it

I thought the contestants had to pay for themselves?

Mistaken, read an application thing and it said (laong lines of);
If you plan on a free trip for Beunos Aires don't apply as you wont get to see much of it.

This is cause of strict timing policies for recording.

the cost on setting that up in England and having to film it in the rain would cost more than it does to pay a tv firm the right to film their and to fly out everybody.

I caught this show last week for the 1st time, loved an LMAO. Love the sound effects they put in!!
