How come they filmed in Argentina, what's wrong with Milton Keynes?!?

Milton Keynes? They should film it up Snowdonia or Ben Nevis, get some snow and hypothermia involved, that's proper entertainment.

Tons of different countries versions are filmed there as far as I'm aware, probably saves a heap on costs.

They film there because thats where the obstacle course is. I expect it was origionally aired in Argentina, and now they charge other channels to film there.

Quite an entertaining program I find. The obstacle course is located out there, mabye they get more good weather, it looks like it.

Generally get a mix of delusional and serious contenders, for entertainement value I guess. Watch the Ninja warrior program if you want to see something more "hardcore" with only serious contenders

you have to fly yourself there to be a contestant. BBC dont pay for it.

Mistaken, read an application thing and it said (laong lines of);
If you plan on a free trip for Beunos Aires don't apply as you wont get to see much of it.

This is cause of strict timing policies for recording.

the cost on setting that up in England and having to film it in the rain would cost more than it does to pay a tv firm the right to film their and to fly out everybody.
