This news will probably only bother Spurs fans, but I think it sends a message out that we have been recognised as an emerging team on the up.

With this vastly increased deal I hope we can invest in a higher quality of player to improve the team.

The only negative from this deal is that the firm is a gambling one, with a red logo (again). ;)

ahh good news for us, hopefully now we have moved to puma the shirts wont be stupid skin tight efforts, just because you are italian doesnt mean we want tight italian style shirts thanks! we are fat english yobs who want baggy shirts :D

Also included £1.5mil for the Spurs in the community programme.

That deal is right up there world wide. Not bad for a team who hasnt played european football for half a decade.

Spurs as a business is booming.
Spurs as a football team is on its way to the top, we'll take Downing with that money please...

Downing, Jenas, Carrick, Lennon. OOOOO YES PLEASE!!!

Downing and Jenas are abysmal.
However, it's a good deal for Spurs who are a team I've always had a soft spot for.

I'm so glad that we've got rid of Kappa. The tight shirts look good on the players (and certain females ;)) but on the average football fan they're an absolute horror show.

Let's hope we invest the money wisely. :)

Would have been even better if they'd turned Mansion down like Manu did...then we'd get loads of free bets against Spurs!
Yeah :D :D Hopefully there will be some Spurs related offers though.

Is it actually a red logo this time, rather than the horrible pink Thompson monstrosity you have at the moment?

If so, teehee, Spurs wearing red on their kit. :p

I imagine it will be this one http://www.mansion.com/

But i remember a thread on a United forum when we nearly had Mansion as sponsors

You mean dawson dont you?

I love the optimism of football fans, spurs have been 'back' since ........well aslong as i remember!!

Seeriously tho if you can keep that midfield together, they will be challenging for 3 rd just.dont think anybody can break into the top 2 of united and liverpool, chelsea dont count anymore!

would like to see spurs break into the top 4 next season, I don't think it's going too far to say that Arsenal might well have a transitional season next year with the move to the new ground so there might well be another year where they don't really perform consistently in the league. Spurs would probably be my choice of team most capable of capitalising on this. My only worry is that after the disappointment of this season they might drop away slightly.

Roll on the great headlines we will have. I see that Tottenham have signed a shirt deal with a casino. I presume this is sort of place that they play "craps".

When the chips are down will Spurs come up holding the aces next season, or are Martin Jol's men a busted flush?
