Touchpad problem

My Mother recently purchased a Medion laptop. Not the best, but it does what she wants, i.e. surfing and family photos. However, for some bizarre reason when you're using the touchpad thing to navigate it auto-clicks. It's like the left mouse button has been pressed when it hasn't. As you can imagine, this is very irritating indeed and is also causing her problems when it 'self clicks' on something she wants to keep.

Anyone got any ideas?

I think that's something to do with the 'tapping' on the touch pad. Some touch pads are too sensitive, so you get the effect of constantly holding.
To disable this, go to Control Panel > Mouse > Touch Pad / Tapping and uncheck the 'Enable Tapping' box
