anyone thinking of getting this? ive got it and its legit dont worry. it good but the thing i dont like about it is it has no money system if you want a certain bike then you have to race against a similar bike if you get ahead and stay ahead for 10 seconds then you win the bike. the graphics are the same as gt4 which is a good thing. the handling is good. massive range of bikes starting with a 125. overall i am pleased with the game
anybody wants any screenshots or videos il try and do them for you, let me know what you want

Glad you like it.Could you tell me if it has the 1080i option like GT4 has?

If you have the Japanese version, are the options easy to navigate?

Thanks zenith. If it has a photo mode, get some posted(Yamaha RD350LC if its in the game).I'm sure there are a few bike nuts here.

Sounds excellent!!!, please tell me i can get this in it...

...please!!!.
:D

Think I'll get it when it comes out. scheduled for th 25th May atm, but its already been moved back a couple times so I wont put much faith in the 25th.

The only thing that put me off was the no money system, That was one of the best things about the gran turismo series. Still looks good though

Heres the website for the game: Click

Slightly off topic but...is anyone running the american GT4 in 1080i on there dell 2405fpw? I am and to be honest it looks crap :( which makes me think that this monitor isnt doing HD 1080i @ all

I was thinking of getting this tourist trophy for the same reason that it does 1080i but if its gunna look the same as GT4 im not sure if ill bother

Thanks

ive got a video of a race modified r6 on midfield raceway just need help compressing it and somewhere to upload. its 120mb taken on a digital camera so the quality isnt brilliant but its certainly watchable

Does it have the isle of man in it at all? I'd buy a PS2 just for a proper TT game, but if its just bike racing I'll stick to moto GP on the 360

edit: meh, just checked on the website and its not in the game. Whats the point having a game called Tourist Trophy and not having the greatest road race in the world on it?

there is a game of the isle of man TT for the PS2
http://uk.gamespot.com/ps2/driving/isleofmanttsuperbikes/index.html?q=tt superbikes
it has the manx GP all classes and the TT all classes

Take on the Isle of Man TT, the most extreme road race in the world since 1907.
37.73 miles of dangerous, intense racing.
On Mad Sunday take to the road against on-coming traffic!
Game modes allow exciting full-grid challenges with ten bikes fighting for the finish line.
Two players can compete in a split screen race,
Tutorials take the player through every corner of the course.
Silky smooth 60fps.
Riders and Superbikes respond precisely to controls with fully dynamic physics model.
Race at different times of day with dynamic weather systems depicted with next-generation particle systems.
Circuits have been surveyed using the latest surveying equipment allowing us to recreate the track to near perfection!
With its extreme road racing, fantastic environment, and dare devil tactics that Surrounds the event; the TT is a perfect match for video games. The Isle Of Man TT will be the definitive game in terms of playability, graphical elements, fun, and realism. At the same time engrossing the users in gameplay brimming with rewards and replay value.
The game will feature over 50 bikes from all the major bike manufacturers, which will be raced over the world famous 37.73-mile course. The course has been mapped accurately using data supplied by the Isle of Man government and data captured by the development team.
As well as traditional racing, the game will also feature a mad Sunday mode. Mad Sunday is an exciting event with riders of all abilities coming from all corners of the world to have the chance of riding at high speeds over the Mountain circuit during TT race week. The player will not only have other bikers to worry about but will have to avoid high-speed traffic, thus creating even more excitement than the norm.
TT Superbikes will also have several multiplayer options including 2 player split screen and a sidecar mode of play.

only £14.99 now too

Cheers for that :) Looks interesting, if a little dated graphics wise. The stuff they didnt like in the review is exactly what I'm looking for

"or painstakingly and meticulously memorize every single nuance and detail of every section of the course to avoid continually crashing out..... But when your main enemy remains the track and your bike's interaction with it, something's not right."

Sounds perfect - thats exaclty what the TT is about :)
