Tower Defence - addictive game

In the original linked game there was no room to put those two towers at the far right (I tried to see if I could get one there)
I guess that's a problem with linking straight to the .swf file now

So theres your answer. Even though at the first upgrade the damage/money ratio of the big flower tower is poor, at the 2nd upgrade its huge. Get one of those onto its 2nd upgrade and you'll get past 80 i reckon.

It costs 15,000 not 23,000, people keep saying 23,000.

I downloaded the .swf file and am playing it from my pc which gives me extra space at the top but not the sides. :confused: It doesn't help though. :(
 
I see from the pictures that most of you are spreading your towers out. I've been bunching mine up in the middle, as they can fire on lots of different locations. That only got me to 76, but perhaps a combination of bunching in the middle and covering corners might be better...?
 
I got to 60.. i may try some of the ways you guys have done it, i started placing them where i was going to later on, and add to them as i go. Might try start them and strengthen them all at once & then place around.

You can do both. If you cover the horizontal line towards the middle from the right you get a fair spread of fire and you also get the concentrated fire down that line.

The rate of fire seems very much affected by firing down a line. I'm testing doubling up different types of tower now.
 
I found the water towers dont fire diagonally if they are close to the wall, but placing them mid field allows them to fire a full 360 and they have better range than leafs, but not as damaging.

82 is my best so far

Just resize the window to suit. :)


That also helps with gaining side too, but not both at the same time.
