Played Orcs must die to death but still love tower defence games.

Can anyone recommend me some really good ones on Steam please?

Also the Defence Grid series is great. The Anomaly series offer an interesting twist to the genre. Tower Wars is not bad as already suggested, though there's more to it than your standard tower defence game.

The best one's have already been mentioned, although I would pick Defence Grid over Pixeljunk monsters (personal preference) but anyway Bloons TD5 is pretty good and available on many platforms.

Loved Defense Grid and also quite liked the original Sanctum

If you have played Dota 2 there's a few good tower defence custom games such as Element TD

Really guys? Purchased a steam code for 99p from a well known auction site and it just seems very basic.

Not saying it is bad or boring, but "best ever"? Not even close.

Defence Grid is much better.
Kingdom Rush series, much better.
Sentinel 3 much better!

Thanks for bringing this one to my attention. Picked up a steam key for it also for under £4 on a well known auction site and I am really enjoying it. A lot better than PixelJUNK

Monsters starts off very basic but it's actually very deep and more importantly, has two player coop

I have played for around 2 hours and done 7 levels. It did not feel like anything special.

I contrast, played around 4 hours of Deathtrap and had a lot more fun

You wouldn't have even unlocked the best towers or the power ups in that time. But each to their own as they say.
