Loved the Defence Grid games, so another vote there for me. I've not really played many tower Defence games, so think I'll use this thread to discover a few more myself.

Good of you to be willing to give it another chance

It seriously is that good. Try to rainbow each level on the first island at least. It has so much depth that isn't apparent immediately.

Good fun game though with a few friends and there's an android version too!

Defence Grid 1 & 2 for sure as well - loved both! The AI voices are very funny!

Humble Bundle did a Dungeon Defenders including all DLC (at the time). Given the publishers model I assume there's only been more released since then, but keep an eye out for that.

Sol Survivor is also good. I've played most TD type games, great time sinks.

Yeah, I completed Sol Survivor way back when it came out. Good game.
