Hehe just had a go at that way and got the lowest gold score of -945 on L39

I got just over 9000 the first time I played this version and completed the game.

as above - fire towers plus interest is the only way.

i just stuck to fire only all the way through. never bothered with the water as that uses another "wood" token.

Its basically Water and Fire all the way. Interest builds up so you can buy more lives and get a better score.

Why are the fire and water towers a better solution than the biggies like the COMBO ROCKET TOWER!!11337!!one?? Since the combo has like damage points of about 2000 or something?

Fire has splash damage, so it can dish out around 800-1000ish damage per shot across multiple creeps, and for the cost beats the rocket tower.

Just using the wood to buy interest after getting fire untill just before the last round to get water. You can get through the first 10-12 levels with a couple of cannons (upgrade them as you go through) and a fire tower in the right place. Once you get your interest to 25% your laughing.

You don't actually beed that many water towers, you could save yourself some money there. I found 7-8 towers placed properly will do 95% of the map saving you about 400 or so points.

Something like this:

I'm sure I managed to find a placement that used only 7 the other day too.

went a bit ott on clicking extra lives though, finished with 45 lives lol
