which one of these two would you choose for cooling a e6300. i will overclocking. tuniq toer or scythe ninja. which is better.

with a Low rpm fan: Tuniq tower
with a High rpm fan: ninja

Reason: ninja has more heatpipes but less fin surface as tuniq, needs more cfm to cool down the same ammount as tuniq, but due to mroe heatpipes, its unbeatable if it has a better fan than the tuniq...

All depends how silent you want your pc...

I would say the complete opposite, due to the high density fins compared to the Ninja airflow is more restricted on the Tuniq. A more powerful fan should have more benefit than it would on the Ninja.

Impossible to answer. Too dependent on the system it's in. You can't go making generalisations using "fin density" and such. Choose based on price or size as both are very good. If you can pay for it, and youve got plenty of space in the case, go for the Tower, it gives better results in reviews.

Depends on the fan you want to use with it and your performance and noise requirements.

As mentioned for a low airflow fan the ninja works better, but for a higher airflow noisier fan the tuniq will be better.

Agreed-

Ninja - No fan/Low RPM

Tuniq- 1000RPM +

TuniqTower is HUGE. On my p180 (which is massive itself) its impossible to install without pulling the motherboard, Which extreme pain in the ass! (anyone got any tips?)

So far it seems very good, bearing in mind i've only had it installed for 24hours now so the temps will drop in the coming weeks.

40ish at idle and 50ish under load. I actually got it to drop to 25c idle but that was with my window wide open right next to it :)

Sry im pretty sure a ninja would beat the hell out of the tuniq with a delta 120 mm, tuniq is limited because it has just 6 heatpipes, at some point of airflow the ninja gets better... 12 pipes can carry a lot more liquid as 6...

@Jaap74 nice case m8,same as mine.its big and long and wide and i love it.that cooler looks like its quite snug in there.good case choice.

my e6300 is at 3.2ghz(465fsb) with ram at 933 1:1.temp is at 31-33c idle with a arctic freezer 7 pro.it is running on 1.25vcore set in the bios.
