Anyone else excited about the release of book 13 in the Wheel of Time series? Only a few months left! I think I will be rereading The Gathering Storm in anticipation.

If I remember correctly, in 7-10 RJ creates endless new sub plots which are hard to engage in. I'll re-read the last 2 books, but I actually love Sanderson's writing.

Actually started re-reading The Gathering Storm last week. Excited about A Memory of Light coming 8th Jan.

I didn't mind the kidnapping plot, it helped give insight into Faile as a character and some more of the inner workings of the Aiel.

Sanderson is back on The Way of Kings now that WoT is done. Really enjoyed the first 2 books, going to reread them.

I'm going to pick it up from Waterstones tomorrow. I don't think I'll be able to put the book down.
