Looking to stream PCVR to Pico 4, and I need a new dedicated router, I have £140ish budget but hoping for a sale to come up soon.

I have seen TTP-Link AX73 AX5400, which looks decent but so does the Asus TUF Gaming AX5400.

I think they are pretty much the same other than the Asus is a little cheaper.

Thanks for any advice.

Well, I am just trying to get one with a good CPU, ram, and throughput speed for £140 or less, hopefully in the sales.
It is only to be used for VR streaming. No other devices are connected at all.

Looking at the specs, I think they are the same performance in terms of hardware and speed.
Thanks.

Appreciate you've mentioned the AX73, but I had the AX72 a few months back and was pretty disappointed overall. Range/performance was no better (an in some cases, worse) than my Hyperoptic-provided router, and it frustrated me that some options were only available on the TP Link app while others were only on the web interface. Changing device display names/icons on the app also wouldn't show on the web interface. It all felt a bit unpolished, plus some of the additional features are locked behind a TP Link subscription.

Yeah, I read something the AX72 1GHz dual-core could no keep up but i could just TP link models have same issues.
