absolute bargain at 12k, if you can find ten other people. Anyone fancy a group buy? :p Would hate to think would these would have cost to build.

For the last three seasons PalmerSport has been using a fleet of 4.2 litre V8 supercharged Jaguar XKRs on corporate events at Bedford Autodrome. For 2010 they are no longer required and are therefore up for sale. We have ten cars available that can be purchased in bulk or individually.

Throughout their short life, they have been maintained regardless of cost by our professional technicians and are ideal for track day use, or to start a class within a race series. Please note: these cars are un-registered and are strictly not for road use.

They have been modified for track use and specification is as follows:

* Body/interior GT2-style carbon fibre rear wing, modified front bumper with carbon front air scoops to improve cooling. Carbon fibre front splitter. Roll cage, race seats and harnesses, carbon interior panelling, racing steering wheel with paddle-shift kit.

* Engine extra cooling from large motorsport hi-flow radiator. Additional coolers for engine oil and transmission.

* Transmission ZF re- mapped electronically to optimise full revs in all gears (disabled auto up-shift), manual-shift only, up-rated Dana differential. 6 speed paddleshift.

* Suspension up-rated factory tuned Bilstein dampers with Eibach race spec springs.

* Brakes 400mm AP Racing front floating discs with Alcon endurance GT caliper. Rear Alcon disc (2-piece)

The cost for all ten cars is £120,000.

Each car is also available for only £18,000.

The cars will be available from the middle of January.

A full history of each car is available upon request, and many spares are available. Viewing and test drives for serious enquiries are available at Bedford Autodrome.

Driven one of these exact cars twice. tbh I hated them on track :(

Steering is super light and just didn't feel nice. Super quick tho and for the price id say bargin.

You can get get a race license from 16 and i think there are some younger people racing in a few specific series so i wouldn't let age put you off too much.

Do it!

They are far from race ready and would need a lot spending on them to make them race ready, more than the cost of the car themselves really. They are cheap for a reason.

They aint Race tweaked. They are driving experience tweaked. They aint been used for racing! They have been used to show people like me that I can be fast in a big fat jag.
