Trackday helmets - where from?

With MSV tracks now requiring a specific approved helmet it looks like I'm going to need to buy one.

Does anyone have any suggestions apart from GPR who are in Northampton which would allow me to try one one? I'm in Ipswich/London.

I just used a local motorsport independant. Must be hundreds in Laaandan.

Its London. Not Laaandan. Why is it only people who live far away from London that say it in such a stupid way thinking its cool?

Are they actually checking? Surely you just sign off the fact that you have one on the waiver form? I'll tell you if they do actually check this coming Saturday (you interested in Bedford 18/04 btw?)

You'll get spotted almost instantly when driving and get black flagged for the rest of the day. The choice between wasting ~£200 on a track day, and spending ~£100 on a decent helmet, isn't really a hard one tbh.

How are they going to spot whether or not a helmet is compliant whilst you are driving? :confused:

My "approved" helmet was £60.
